VoIP Dictation System  S1 has the capabilities of providing a VoIP telephones that could be connected to your computer network, that has fast access to the Internet. The VoIP telephone will connect, via the Internet, to our dictation system located in our office in Columbia South Carolina. The phone is "plug-and-play" and self programming.

Digital Voice Recording  S1 has capabilities transcribing digital voice files created by portable digital recorders and/or PDA's. The voice files are downloaded into your computer that is connected to the Internet and we move the voice files into our secured server via the Internet.

800 Call-In Lines  S1 provides 800 call-in service into a digital dictation system. The professional would dial into our dictation system 800 number, dial a security code, and begin dictating.  This is a more traditional method of dictating and professionals are, normally, accustomed to this method. Our pricing is based on this method of dictating documents. If you or your practice use digital voice recording devices or want to use VoIP phones, then consideration will be given in our charges to you.

Voice Files and Document Files Voice files are moved into our secured servers by using FTP HIPPA approved software.  The same when we transfer completed work back to you. Completed work is encrypted and decrypted automatically by our server software. When you see the completed transcribed document it will appear as a Word document.

S1 Meets or Exceeds HIPPA S1 has two separate "fire walls" going into and out of the dictation and server center.  Our telephone and Internet service provides "state-of-the-art" protection. S1 has a "fire-wall" server that provides protection in and out of our center. All data moves through our "fire-wall" server.

Redundancy  All servers and dictation systems are redundant. All files have separate file storage servers. We have external electrical power sources.

S1 transcription owns a telecommunication and data company (BTD - Business Telephones & Data) that specializes in providing VoIP solutions to customers. The company has four trained and experienced data and hardware technical/support staff members that provide data solutions for customers.  BTD is housed in the same office as S1 which allows S1 to have controlling access to software, hardware, and training support to individual needs and questions of S1 customers. All employees carry company cell phones for easy access.
